Parent Notification and Consent For Medicaid


In order to bill for Medicaid services, school districts must obtain a one-time written consent from the parent. Prior to obtaining consent for the first time and annually thereafter, school districts are required to provide parents with written notification that ensures that they are fully informed of their rights.
